Sculpture of cowboy, horse and steer. Inspired by an
incident that happened to Roy while he was heading a cow camp in the White
Mountains outside Springerville, Arizona, in 1950. He and another cowboy, Hank,
were driving a stray down a draw when the steer stumbled causing the horse to
roll forward throwing Roy to the ground. Fortunately, all three survived the
incident with only minor injuries. Front View |
